  • The Lodge

    • The Lodge at Angelus Oaks comprises a main building and 12 individual, self contained Cabins, each equipped with kitchen, bath, and up to two bedrooms.

    The main building houses the reception area, stone fireplace, pool table, books and games. These facilities are available to our guests. We welcome you to relax by the fire, find a book, or simply enjoy conversation at the Lodge.

    Situated on 5 acres of National Forest land in the San Bernardino National Forest, the cabins and grounds are designed to give everyone room to breathe, think and relax. In the common areas you will find ping-pong, badminton, horseshoes, volleyball, and a pool table. Hiking trails, fishing, and Jenks Lake are a short distance away, while winter adds tobogganing, cross country skiing and a snow play area for the kids.

    On the weekends, join us by the campfire in summer, or the fireplace in winter, for evenings of music, story telling, or conversation. We encourage you to bring an instrument if you play one, your best campfire stories, or just yourself. Relax and enjoy your stay at the LODGE.

  • The Cabins

    • Each Cabin contains a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes and utensils. All bathrooms have showers. Towels and bedding are provided. There are BBQ's available for outdoor chefs, and chairs on the porch provide you and your family an ideal place to sit back and enjoy this beautiful mountain retreat.

    To complete your "getaway", neither phones nor TV's are provided in the cabins. However, equipment may be brought with you, or rentals are available on a limited basis.

    A country store, restaurant, and post office are nearby, as well as outdoor sporting equipment for hire.

  • The Rates

    • Cabins are equipped for 2, 4 or 6, depending on the size you choose. Want to bring sleeping bags for the little ones? You can hang 'em on the wall if they are comfortable! We don't count "heads", but ask you to limit your extras to 2 people per cabin. Small pets are okay, at an additional nightly fee.

  • Reservations and Cancellations

    • Guaranteed reservations are advised, especially during peak seasons. We need 48 hours notice for cancellations, otherwise fees may apply.

  • The Area

    • Angelus Oaks is located in the San Gorgonio Ranger District of the San Bernardino National Forest in Southern California. At approximately 6,000 feet above sea level, area points of interest include Big Bear, Barton Flats and Rim of the World Scenic Byway. The San Bernardino National Forest offers a myriad of activities, beauty and peacefulness. Join us!

    • I-10 to Tennessee in Redlands.
    Left to Lugonia, then right at Hwy 38.
    About 19 miles to the Village of Angelus Oaks.

    The LODGE is operated under Special Use Permit with the USDA Forest Service.
